Your response
Ce week-end, je vais allé à Lyon avec mes amis. Ils est très contents.

Ce week-end, je vais aller à Lyon avec mes amis. Ils sont très contents.
Infinitive after aller:Use aller, not allé, after je vais.
Agreement:Mes amis is plural, so the verb is ils sont.
What happens after signup
The free path gives you enough of the loop to judge Parler: lesson, production, correction, and the first speaking checkpoint.
01
Start without a card and keep your first progress saved.
02
Learn the pattern in context before you are asked to produce it.
03
Write or speak full French and see the correction immediately.
The Parler method
The course is built around a closed learning loop: input, structure, production, correction, reproduction, review, and assessment.
01
Start from a short dialogue, story, or model answer before you are asked to produce French.
02
Target grammar is highlighted in context so the pattern becomes visible before the rule appears.
03
Controlled exercises make the form stable before open-ended writing or speaking.
04
Every lesson moves toward full written or spoken production, not recognition alone.
05
AI correction explains grammar, vocabulary, register, and repeated patterns.
06
The retry step checks whether the learner repaired the mistake rather than only reading feedback.
Public B1 sample lesson
Raconter un souvenir: passé composé ou imparfait? shows the whole learning loop in one inspectable B1 walkthrough.
Open the full sample01 · Input first
A short B1 story introduces the pain point in context: background versus event.
Quand j'avais quinze ans, il pleuvait beaucoup ce jour-là...
02 · Noticing
The lesson asks learners to identify which verbs set the scene and which move the story forward.
j'avais · il pleuvait · mon ami est arrivé
03 · Production
The learner writes and says a short memory using both the imparfait and passé composé.
Write 5-7 sentences about a memorable day.
04 · Repair
Correction is followed by a retry without hints, then mistake-based review.
Tous les samedis, elle ___ chez sa grand-mère.
Sample correction
Parler explains what changed, why it changed, and how the same pattern should return in review. The public examples cover A1, B1, and B2 so the course does not look beginner-only.
Learner answer
Je suis 20 ans.
Corrected French
J'ai 20 ans.
French uses avoir for age: literally, you have twenty years rather than are twenty.
Follow-up review
J'___ 18 ans. Elle ___ 25 ans.
Learner answer
Quand j'étais enfant, je suis allé souvent chez ma grand-mère.
Corrected French
Quand j'étais enfant, j'allais souvent chez ma grand-mère.
Souvent signals a repeated habit in the past, so French expects the imparfait: j'allais.
Follow-up review
Tous les étés, nous ___ à Marseille.
Learner answer
Je pense que le gouvernement doit fasse plus pour les étudiants.
Corrected French
Je pense que le gouvernement doit faire plus pour les étudiants.
After devoir, the next verb stays in the infinitive: doit faire. The subjunctive appears after patterns such as il faut que.
Follow-up review
Formal alternative: Il me semble nécessaire que le gouvernement fasse davantage pour les étudiants.

FAQ
Parler is designed as a structured A1 to B2 French course with lesson-by-lesson grammar progression, dialogues, guided practice, writing, speaking, AI correction, retry, and mistake-based review. C1 is planned next rather than presented as finished.
Yes. You can jump directly to a module, and the placement page gives a routing recommendation with a confidence level and weak areas. It is a course-routing tool, not an official CEFR score.
The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is the international reference scale for language ability. Parler uses A1 to B2 module labels to organise the course path, but it does not issue official CEFR certification.
Parler compares your answer with the task, identifies grammar, vocabulary, register, pronunciation, and task-completion issues where relevant, explains the rule, and stores recurring mistake patterns for review.
Parler can cover much of the routine structure learners often need between tutor sessions: sentence practice, grammar reinforcement, correction, and repeated speaking prompts. A human tutor is still useful for live conversation, cultural nuance, motivation, and high-stakes exam preparation.
Parler is best for learners tired of recognition-only apps, self-learners who want structure, and A2 or B1 learners who understand some French but cannot produce it freely. It is not for learners who refuse to write or speak.
Monthly gives you full access for €9.99/month, cancel anytime. Lifetime is a one-time payment for permanent access.
